Extraordinary education for extraordinary girls.

Nau mai haere mai

Salisbury School is proud to be New Zealand’s only school to offer single-sex specialist residential learning for girls aged 8-15 years old, enrolled from all over New Zealand.

Salisbury is a centre of excellence with a one campus ethos and a reputation for best practice.

Located in a tranquil park-like setting in Richmond, Nelson Tasman, our day-to-day learning, living and life skills programmes encourage individual strengths to develop. Each girl has a tailored programme towards transition, empowering students for greater possibilities in life beyond Salisbury.

At Salisbury, each girl has a tailored programme towards transition, empowering students for greater possibilities in life.

Guiding principles are woven into all aspects of wider school life; Māori perspectives, empowering students, learning for sustainability and respecting diversity.

For every girl that comes to Salisbury there is a dedicated school and residential place for them to learn at their own pace and in their own way.
